If you are time constraint and you want to explore the well-known sacred city of Tibet, this 3 days program in Lhasa is a perfect mélange of spiritual subsistence and architectural influence. You can discover historical sites like Potala Palace, Jokhang temple, Barkhor Bazar, Drepung and Sera Monastery that covers all the prominent sites with a palate of Tibetan lifestyle.
Day 01: Arrive in Gonggar Airport and proceed to Lhasa (3,650m). Transfer to your Hotel by surface.
Day 02: Visit the Potala Palace, Jokhang temple and Barkhor Bazaar.
Day 03: Admire the Drepung and Sera Monastery. In the evening, take a stroll to the colorful bazars of Tibet for some shopping.
Day 04: Drive to the Gonggar Airport and transfer for your flight back home.
Take an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lhasa, which will take approximately 90 minutes of flight time. Arrive at the Gonggar airport. Be received by our staff that will assist you in getting transferred to Lhasa (3650m) by surface. The whole day is kept for acclimatizing. Overnight stay at a hotel in Lhasa with BB Plan.
The whole day is kept for sightseeing in Lhasa. Visit Potala Palace, one of the Tibetan architectural wonders that are famous for holding the relics of precious statues, scriptures and religious jewelry. The following afternoon is spent touring the Jokhang Temple, the fundamental pilgrimage destination of Tibetan pilgrims. It is considered to be one of Tibet’s holiest shrines. In the evening, we take a stroll to Barkhor Bazaar, a hive of bazaar activity and an astonishing pilgrim jamboree that gives a delightful introduction to Tibet.
We visit two major monasteries namely, Drepung and Sera. The rest of the day is left for personal shopping. Overnight stay at a hotel in Lhasa with BB Plan.
