Outline Itinerary
Day 1: Fly to Kathmandu (1300m). Group shall be met at the airport and transfer provided to Hotel.
Day 2: The day will be spent for the Visa application for the Kailash journey with the China Visa Centre in Kathmandu.
Day 3: Darshan Of Pashupatinath Temple & Sleeping Vishnu at Budhanilkantha. The day is free for final preparation of the Yatra.
Day 4: Sightseeing Tour of Patan Durbar Square with visit to Krishna Mandir & the Patan Museum.
Day 5: After breakfast, drive to the airport for your flight to Lhasa. Upon arrival at Gonggar airport, transfer to Lhasa City (3650m).
Day 6: Visit the famous Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Bazaar and Sera Monastery.
Day 7: Visit The Potala Palace and Drepung Monastery.
Day 8: Drive to Shigatse (3800m – 271 Kms – 8 hrs ) to visit The Tashilunpo Monastery & the free market.
Day 9: Drive to SAGA (4600m) 447 Kms / 8 hrs .
Day 10: Drive to Lake Manasarovar (4560m) with the Parikarma Of the Lake (478 Kms / 9 hrs).
Day 11: AM Stay at Lake Manasarovar for Pooja & Havan PM Drive to Darchen (4670m – 40 Kms – 1/12 hrs).
Day 12: Drive to Trek starting point. Trek to Dirapuk (4860m) (8 Kms / 5-6 hrs).
Day 13: Trek to Zhuthulpuk (4760m) crossing over The Drolma La Pass (18 Kms / 9 – 10 hrs ).
Day 14: End Kailas Kora. Drive to SAGA ( 4600m – 440 Kms – 6-7 hrs).
Day 15: Drive to Kerung (3500m / 6-7 hrs) and cross over to The Nepal border. Drive to Kathmandu.
Day 16: Transfer to the airport for your final departure back home.
