Maha Shivratri is one of the fondly celebrated and devoured festivals of Hindus in Nepal and around the world. This day marks the union of Shiva and Shakti, the Goddess of Power. The 2,000-year-old temple Pashupatinath, situated on the banks of the sacred Bagmati River, is one of the most significant Hindu temples of Lord Shiva, the third deity in the Hindu trinity and considered the God of creation, preservation, and destruction. There’s a celebratory flavor with musicians playing sitars and table drums, and dancers in vibrant colors lyrically surrounding the temple. Sadhus from India and Nepal cover themselves with ashes to look paler and decorate their bodies with bright hues to add extra charm to this festival, making the vicinity even more colorful.
The trip also includes a visit to Muktinath temple, an extremely spiritual sacred site for devout pilgrims that help them discover or attain ‘moksha’ from the cycle of birth and rebirth.

Upon arrival in Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International Airport, meet Richa Tour’s office representative, assist and transfer to the Hotel,
check in with the welcome drinks served.
Morning attend the Maha Shivratri festival in Pashupatinath, situated on the banks of the holy Bagmati River. Explore around the festival area and proceed to do the Darshan of the holy Lord Shiva and get blessings.
After breakfast, drive to Pokhara via the darshan of Manakamana temple,ahighly veneratedsacredplace where legend believes that all your wishes come true, stope for good lunch and proceed to Pokhara.
Morning after breakfast, flight to Jomsom. Drive to Muktinath from Jomsom.Offeryour prayers to Muktinath temple and complete the necessary puja. Rest day in Muktinath hotel.
Morning drive to Jomsom ariport , then fly to Pokhra. Check in to hotel and do the half-day sightseeing to David’s Fall and Gupteshwor Cave temple. Walk around Lake side.
Catch a flight back to Kathmandu. The rest of the evening is for personal relaxation and shopping.
Check out from the Hotel and transfer to the airport for final departure back home.
